I've been skating for about 20ish years and only started to pay attention to my injuries maybe 7-8 years ago and just recently actively working to help repair and heal up these injuries as much as possible due to the pain they cause during/after session and limited Range Of Motion.
I've sprained or possibly torn stuff in my left lateral ankle so eversion is limited as well as a bunch of popping when I do ankle circles or the like.
Right ankle has just been tweaked many times over the years so I know I've got scar tissue up in that b. ROM is better in that ankle but still limited.
Both of my hip joints have noticeable scar tissue in them from repeated slams. I'm goofy so my right hip has a lot more noticeable scar tissue in it from falling forward onto the hip. It almost feels like a bone or something cuz it's built up for so long in the same place.
Broken left elbow from probably ten years ago, never regained full ROM due to calcium build up and not continuing with physical therapy for long after the surgery.
Dislocated right elbow last year, regained more ROM than left elbow but not completely. And can feel lack of strength in the joint.
Right now I'm doing some isometric exercises on both ankles, wrists and elbows as well as strengthening exercises. Working on heating up then breaking up the scar tissue in the hips and ROM.
I have more injuries that didn't affect my body as much such as a nail going all the way through my foot and dislocating my pinky last year. Broken both bones in right arm twice but I'm screwed and plated up so it's aight. I'm sure the plates and screws in there mess with my body a little or have scar tissue around it but it never really bothers me. Bonked my head plenty of times, only busted it open skating once or twice though. Broken nose from board popping up and bustin me in the shnozz.
Just felt like sharing since there's not much on these forums.
Peace and blessing y'all
